Privacy Policy

Top Storage Pods is a comparison publication. We rank portable storage container companies and, when you ask us to, route your quote request to companies that can serve a storage move. How the ranking works — and how we are paid — is described in our methodology and disclosure.

When you request quotes, the form asks for:

• your first and last name, email address, and phone number
• the delivery ZIP code, and optionally a destination ZIP
• container size, a target delivery date, and whether you have driveway access

We do not ask for, or collect, a street address.

When you submit the form we also record:

• your IP address and browser user-agent — kept with the submission as part of the consent record, and used for rate limiting
• the ranked listing this visit arrived through, when one is set, plus any campaign parameters the form forwards (for example utm_source, gclid)

We set one first-party cookie:

• 8tsp_slot— set when you visit a ranked company’s page or a quote URL that names that company. It records which ranked listing this visit arrived through. It is not readable by scripts and is not used for advertising.

When Google Tag Manager is configured for a deployment, we also load a Tag Manager container so we can measure site analytics (for example Google Analytics 4) that marketing configures in that workspace. When that tag is not configured, the script is not loaded.

Quotes only go out if you check the consent box. The exact language you agree to — reproduced here from the same text the form displays, so the two cannot differ — is:

Consent version: 8tsp-tcpa-2026-01. We keep a record of the text you agreed to, when, and from where.

Your request goes to our storage concierge and to participating container companies matched to your delivery. Those companies pay for placement and for introductions, and they are independent businesses operating under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your details to an open marketplace or to data brokers.

Service providers that process data for us, and what each does:

• Supabase — application hosting and database
• Cloudflare Turnstile — bot challenge on the quote form
• Twilio Lookup — checks that a submitted phone number is reachable
• NeverBounce — checks that a submitted email address is deliverable
• Resend — transactional email (your confirmation message)
• Vercel — web hosting and request logs
• Google Tag Manager — loads only when configured; used to deliver analytics tags (such as Google Analytics 4) that we manage for this site. It does not sell your quote details.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To exercise any of them, email hello@topstoragepods.com from the address you submitted.

We keep lead and consent records for as long as needed to operate the service and to evidence the consent you gave, then delete or de-identify them.

This site is for adults arranging portable storage. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
